There’s no shipping fee required for all shipments going to the lower 48 continental USA. However, if you would like to place an order from outside of the continental USA, please inform us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email immediately. This shows that The Backyard Play Store has gotten your order in the system. After receiving your order, The Backyard Play Store instantly contacts its suppliers to make sure that the item you’ve ordered is available. If the item is not available or ready for shipping, The Backyard Play Store will contact you through email and inform you of the situation.
Immediately the item(s) you’ve ordered are ready for delivery, they will be shipped to you.
Shipping Time & Method
All orders are delivered within the expected time displayed on the product page. You can find this at the top of the product page, just underneath the “Add to cart” button. We deliver most packages through FedEx or UPS. The Backyard Play Store does not deliver packages to APO/FPO or PO BOX addresses.
We may use a freight carrier to deliver your item(s). However, this depends on the size of your package.
All commercial bounce house orders are shipped curbside through freight shipping. With this kind of shipping, the truck driver halts in front of your residence and you offload the items at the back of the truck. However, you can pay an additional $75 to use a residential liftgate service. When you pay for the liftgate service, your package will be delivered with a special truck that is capable of lowering your package to the ground. If you don’t request for a liftgate service while making your order, then you will have to offload the items from the truck by yourself and move them into your apartment.
Any customer who does not request for a liftgate while placing their order, and rejects delivery because they are unable to unload the items, will be charged for return shipping & original free shipping.
If you will be absent from home at the time of delivery, please inform us via email@example.com and we will make arrangements for a will-call pick up at your closest UPS or FedEx location.
24 hours after your package has been shipped, you will receive an email that contains the tracking information of your order. If you don’t receive the tracking information of your order within 3 days of placing your order, please reach out to us via firstname.lastname@example.org. Immediately your order has been shipped, you are not allowed to cancel it. You can check out “Cancellations” below to get more information.
After the package is delivered to the shipping address, and the order is marked as “Delivered” through the tracking information provided by the freight/shipping company, The Backyard Play Store will not be responsible for any “nonreceivable” situation. We will not give refunds or provide replacements on any “Delivered” order.
Receipt of Products & Damages
An adult needs to be present when the package is delivered, to examine the goods and also certify that it was delivered. Make sure you carefully examine your package and check for any damages that may have happened during shipping. If you discover any damages, please reach out to us immediately. When you contact us, a claim will be filed with the carrier and they will pick up the parcel the same way it was packaged before delivery, and return it to us.
Immediately the damaged item or package is picked up by the carrier, we will make arrangements with our suppliers for a replacement to be delivered to you.
If you discover that any delivered item has a manufacturing defect, we will fix it or replace it entirely at no extra cost. However, if we cannot fix the item or replace it, you will get a full refund.
Returns & Refunds
We at the Backyard Play Store know that unforeseen circumstances or situations may arise after an order has been delivered, that’s why we are offering our customers a 30-Day No Hassle Returns/Exchange Policy. Therefore, if you want to return an item for ANY reason at all, you are allowed to do that within 30 days--just pay return shipping and restocking fee. It's that simple.
Take note: This 30-Day No Hassle Returns policy is not applicable to commercial bounce houses & inflatables. Such items are very costly to ship, between $300 to $800. So, if a customer wants to return a commercial bounce house, the customer will have to pay for BOTH return shipping and initial outbound shipping cost which is originally covered by The Backyard Play Store as part of the free shipping promotion.
After we receive and examine the item you returned, we will send you an email to notify you that we have processed your return and refund (less a 15% or 40% restocking fee*) to your original method of payment.
*Products eligible for return/exchange must be "Like New," unused, undamaged, and must contain all original product packaging and accessories. "Like New" means that the product must not show any signs of wear. If a product is returned with visible signs of wear, or has minor issues due to use, they may still qualify for return for "refurbished use", in which case a 40% stocking fee will be assessed. Items that are returned damage or show significant signs or wear will not be accepted and are ineligible for refund.
When an order is yet to be shipped, you can cancel it without incurring an extra charge. However, if you cancel after 12-24 hours of placing an order, it will be considered as a normal 30-day return item and you may be charged for return shipping. If you’d like to cancel an order, do it immediately so you won’t be charged for return shipping fees.
